Cellulose Insulation in Atlanta, GA
Cellulose is dense, recycled-content insulation that packs into corners and hard-to-reach cavities. It is a strong option for attics and, with a drill-and-fill approach, for finished walls in older Atlanta homes that were never insulated.

Benefits
Why choose cellulose insulation
Fills hard-to-reach spaces
Blown cellulose settles into irregular cavities and around obstructions that batts leave open.
Reduced air movement
Dense-packed cellulose slows air through the cavity much better than loose batts, which improves comfort.
Works in finished walls
Drill-and-fill lets us insulate existing walls through small holes without tearing out drywall or plaster.
Cost-effective
Cellulose is typically more affordable than spray foam for attics and walls, and still adds significant R-value.

Our process
How our cellulose insulation process works
- 1
Inspect the cavities
We check the attic or wall cavities, existing insulation, moisture and any obstructions.
- 2
Choose the method
Dry-blown for attics, wet-spray for open walls, and drill-and-fill for finished walls. You get the scope in writing.
- 3
Protect and prepare
We cover floors and furniture, set up equipment and mark where access holes will go in finished walls.
- 4
Install to density
Cellulose is applied to the target depth or density so it does not settle and leave gaps.
- 5
Patch and clean up
We plug access holes, clean up and review the finished work with you.

Cellulose Insulation FAQs
What is the difference between wet-spray and dry-blown cellulose?
Dry-blown cellulose is blown loose into attics. Wet-spray cellulose is applied with a light moisture and binder so it sticks inside open wall cavities. Both are installed to a target density or depth.
Can you insulate walls without tearing out drywall?
Yes. In finished walls, the usual method is drill-and-fill: small holes are drilled at the top of each cavity, a hose is inserted to fill it, and the holes are plugged and patched.
Is cellulose safe?
Cellulose is made from recycled paper treated for fire and pest resistance. As with any insulation, the crew wears protection during installation.
Does cellulose settle over time?
Loose-fill can settle somewhat, so installers add extra depth to reach the final R-value. In walls, dense-packing prevents settling.
Is cellulose or spray foam better?
Foam seals air and resists moisture better. Cellulose costs less and fills tough cavities well. For finished walls in older homes, cellulose is often the practical choice.
How does moisture affect cellulose?
Cellulose should stay dry. We check for roof leaks and moisture problems first, because those must be fixed before any insulation goes in.
Do you install cellulose in commercial buildings?
Yes. We offer residential and commercial cellulose insulation across Georgia.
